No Live Steam Loss

Bestobell Steam created the Delta Element steam trap over 40 years ago to correct two age-old steam trap problems: steam loss and trap failure. Simply put, we wanted to create a steam trap that outlived the boiler, and did what the name implies....trap steam... and remove condensate.  Traditional trap technologies have inherent flaws that reduce your profit.  Why correct these problems? They cost you profit!Inherent steam loss and trap failure steam loss not only cost you utility dollars, but increase O&M expense and interrupt the production of quality product.

Total Trap Stations

The Total Trap Stations 2 & 3 are used and endorsed by Consolidated Edison Company of New York , Inc. The Total Trap series is a line of compact, thermodynamic style steam trap stations for saturated steam designed to efficiently discharge condensate on applications with working pressures up to 600 psi. It comes standard with: one-piece, self-contained total steam trap station,  disc trap with replaceable cartridge, disc and cap (easily replaced in the field without uninstalling the complete trap station), Strainer, blow-down & by-pass capabilities, Integral isolation valves with ability to free-vent, flush plug to flush disc trap and internal porting when desired.

Delta Element Design

Bestobell Steam’s Delta Element is a triangular shaped bimetal strip of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. The materials are joined together using a patented state of the art process of Controlled Atmospheric Bonding. This process assures strong, consistent, and repeatable operation over the life of the trap. This bonded steel is then further processed for additional strength and shaped into the delta pattern and heat-treated to eliminate stresses. This entire process allows the Bestobell Delta Element traps long life with consistent operations.
